This Season of Angels by Perry Stone:
Perry Stone is a charismatic Pentecostal Bishop and bestselling author who directs one of America’s fastest-growing ministries, The Voice of Evangelism. As an author, what I really liked about this book were the many examples of angelic encounters with modern people in the time that Stone refers to as “This Prophetic Season.”
That is not to say that This Season of Angels lacks a solid scriptural foundation. On the contrary, Stone does a remarkable job of grounding his explanations about how angels minister, how they heal, and how they communicate heavenly revelations to earth using solid Scriptural exegesis.
This is a wonderful book to pull your head out of the purely theoretical and to begin assessing the experiences that people are now having with divine encounters. I found his last chapter answering twenty controversial questions about angels to be particularly fascinating and valuable. This Season of Angels is a truly uplifting book filled with hope that also provides courage to face the challenges of Spiritual Warfare.
